预测酵母基因组中基因数目的一种方法

摘要 分析了酵母(Saccharomyces cerevisiae,Scer)、大肠杆菌(Escherichia,Ecoli)和枯草杆菌(Bacillus sub- tilis,Bsub)基因组中基因和开阅读框架(open reading frame,ORF)的数目随长度的分布,发现不同生物的分布相似且有明显的规律性,并依照此规律估计了酵母基因组中基因数目约为5752个.本文的方法对于评估理论预测基因的可靠性具有建设性意义. The distribution of the number of genes and open read frame with its length was analyzed in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis genomes. The results showed that their distributions had similar form and obvious regulations. According to the regulation of this kind of distribution, it was estimated that the number of genes was approximately 5752 in the Saccharomyces cerevisiae genome. The method used in this paper had constructive significance for evaluating the reliability of genes identified by theoretical methods.
