在生产中大型制件胀形模,由于材料拉伸变形较大,往往导致制件开裂、起皱等问题.小型制件采用聚氨酯橡胶制造胀形模已得到了应用,以此为基础,对摩托车油箱这种较大零件的胀形模进行改进,用聚氨酯橡胶代替原钢制凸模,很好地解决了零件出现的缺陷,在生产中已获得了成功并投入使用.

Cracks, golfers and other defects often occurred in large work-piece products by expansion mould due to the big tensile deformation. Polyurethane rubber expansion mould has been put into use in the small work-piece production. Motorcycle fuel tank, as a large work-piece, is always produced by steel mould and has the above defects. In this study, great modification of expansion mould of motorcycle tank has been made to solve the defects problem. Polyurethane rubber has replaced the steel convex mould of motorcycle fuel tank. The new design of polyurethane rubber expansion mould has successfully been applied.
