Through the comparative analysis on the origin, guarantee and management of the subject librarian system in domestic and foreign libraries, this paper illustrates the shortages of domestic library＇s subject librarian system and their deficiencies from the foreign libraries＇ subject librarian system, which can be used for reference and can give some enlightenments.
