雕塑大师李志正端坐在面前,慈眉善目,目光炯然,扑面一股超凡脱俗之气,柔和中有刚毅,亲切里有稳沉,一眼望去,绝非眼下那种“打造了双手而未打造心灵”的艺人匠人。再看他的作品,心底暗暗一声喟叹：就是他了!

Sculpture master Li Zhizheng has suffered many mishaps in his life.He worked in a coal mine for 11 years.Since he got married with the Yungang Grottoes and the religious art, he has been deeply influenced by the pro- found connotations,endless charms and special spirits of the Buddha in the Yungang Grottoes and his soul has been sublimed to a realm without utilitarianism,ostentation or vulgar taste.Step by step,he has cast off his old self and taken on a new self and has become a craftsman who is dexterous with his hands and pure in his mind. Now,he has mastered the fundamental ro- mantic charm of the Buddha in the Yungang Grottoes,and the Buddha he carved enjoys wide praise.He holds that it is more than material rewards to let thousands upon thou- sands of people to listen piously to the echo of the history and feel the co-existence of our forefathers and their descendents through his handicrafts.
