In the market economy, knowledge has become the source of competitive force for enterprises. The concepts of knowledge economy, knowledge management and knowledge-intensive enterprise are all accepted. Compared with traditional enterprises, the structure and characteristics of the knowledge-intensive enterprises have their own features. The paper analyzes the characteristics of the knowledge-intensive enterprise on thebasis of the analysis of its internal and external structures to probe into its production function and the domino effect of reward progressive increase which is determined by its structure.
