英语教学中应弱化功利性增强人文性

外语是一门功用性很强的学科,在教学中弱化英语教学的功利性、增强人文主义教育是未来教育的发展趋势。我国多年来,由于“应试英语”+“证书英语”的传统教学理念、忽视母语与传统文化教学等急功近利的英语教学内容和缺乏人文主义教育的培养,严重影响了学生的全面发展。文章认为,应视人格完善为教育的终极目的,在重视科学人文主义教育和新道德教育等方面采取措施,提高人文主义教育在英语教学中的作用。

Weakening utilitarianism and strengthening humanism in the teaching of foreign languages will be the trend in future education. For many years, the all - wund development of students have been influenced by the traditional teaching notions of ＂exam - oriented English＂ plus ＂credential English＂ , by the content of courses ignoring the mother tongue and traditional culture teae~ and by the training lacking humanism. The article holds that personality perfection should be the ultimate goal of education that effective measures should be taken to promote education in humanism and new ethics and give full play to humanism in English teaching.
