This paper discusses the grammaticalization of ＂jian＂ in the ＂verb＋result＂ sentences from the semantic bleach, the generalization of synthetic combination and the phonetic reduction. It also discusses the overgrammaticalization of ＂jim＂ in the ＂verb＋result＂ sentences and the semantic persistence during the grammaticalization.
