摘要
罗布.格里耶实验小说中的“人”相对于“物”,总是处于一种可有可无、似有似无的状态,解读实验文本的过程,也是一个竭力将“人物形象”从“物”的世界分离出来的过程,这种解读与人类进入20世纪后努力进行自我寻觅的社会情状是完全吻合的。小说表现出对故事情节性一定程度的拒绝。小说中环境描写既不为展示人物性格而存在,也不是反映生活画面、推动情节发展的因子,而是一个具有无比独立性的自在物,是“物”的展示。
This paper roughly probes into Robbe - Grillet' experimental novels in terms of requisites to constitute full - length novels, such as portraying images, describing plots and environment, and so on. The author thinks that sitting face to face with "things", "characters" in the novel is always in a state of being dispensable and indefinite; and that the process of reading and analyzing the experimental texts is the course of separating "men' s images" from the world of "things". And this process tallies with the social situation of which men try to do self- seeking when stepping into the 20th century. To a certain extent, his experimental novels reject the plots of stories. And this rejection shows to us that not only risky experiences, marvellous scenery and exotic atmosphere gradually fade away, but also the connects between the plots wither away by degrees. The length of Robbe ' experimental novels about environmental description seems to be longer than the Balzac' s. And after carefi^ly reading, you' 11 find that environment he describes is a completely independent free thing, rather than the thing to reveal nature of the characters', or the cause of reflecting the pictures of life and pushing forward the development of plots. In place of the tracitional wording of environmental description, maybe it is more exact to define it as the reflection of thing.
