摘要
孟子在性善论的基础上提出了道德修养理论,其一是持之以恒的“存心养性”、“反求诸己”的内心修养方法,来成就自己的道德人格;其二是“明人伦”的教育原则,培养其道德人格。前者是自我教育的方法,后者则须借助于外部的作用,其理论的积极意义应受到重视。
Based on the theory of the goodness of human nature, Mencius raised the theory of moral cultivation. One is the way of inner cultivation through "to preserve one's mind and to nourish one's nature" and "to investigate oneself", it is one way to complete one's moral personality. The other is the educational principle as "understanding human relations", It is another way to cultivate one's moral personality .The proceeding is the way of self-education. The latter needs the help of external influences. The positive side of Mencius' theory should be valued.
