The competition among supply chains nowadays becomes competition of the time.How to reduce consumer＇s time for acquiring the products becomes the focus of research.This article mainly analyzed the sub-cycle and activity of supply chain and the cycle time in different manufacturing envirionments.and discussed the theory of cycle time administration/compression to establish the base of the mathematic models of the time compression in supply chain administration.
