This paper analyzes the problems of existing cards in hospital and introduces the characteristics and advantages of bank IC card. The difficulty and principle when bank IC card applied to medical reimbursement are discussed. The hospitalization procedure with medical reimbursement by bank IC card is also described in this paper.
