摘要 针对信号噪声环境下的车牌定位问题,提出了一种基于小波变换和数学形态学的图像定位方法.该方法先用自适应滤波多尺度边缘检测方法检测出车牌的边缘;然后用数学形态学方法对阈值二值化后的边缘图像进行系列形态运算,进一步消除无用信息;最后用基于车牌底色识别的方法进行车牌定位.实验结果表明,该方法定位效果好,适于有噪声的车牌图像进行定位. A vehicle license plate location method based on wavelet transform and mathematical morphology under noise circumstances is presented. The edge of vehicle license plate is first detected with the method of adaptive filter for edge detection, and then morphological operations are used to process the edge image with mathematical morphology. Finally, the vehicle license plate is located by its grounding-color recognition. The experiment results show that the proposed approach is very effective for locating vehicle licence plate image affected by noise.
