冯沅君:叛逆爱情旗帜下道德变革的勇敢与怯懦

Feng Yuan-Jun: Courage and Cowardice of the Reformation under the Banner of Rebellious Love

道德变革是五四思想文化运动中最为沉重的话题,也是新文学关注的焦点之一。作为中国现代文学第一代女作家的冯沅君,以叛逆的爱情为旗帜,追求“人”的意志自由,高扬“五四”提倡的“人的道德”。但是,由于五四先驱者们道德变革思想理解的局限,使得冯沅君及其笔下的女性在反叛旧道德、追求新道德的路途上,表面呈现绝决勇敢的姿态,其实深陷怯懦。

Moral transform was the heaviest topic in the May 4th Culture Movement and one of the focuses of modern literature. Feng Yuan-jun, one of the first women writers in modern Chinese literature, under the flag of rebellious love, sought ＂ humans＂ spiritual freedom ,and advocated ＂human morals＂. Feng and those females in her novels appeared so determined and brave in appearance, however, they were timid and coward in deep heart, owing to those pioneers＇ limited understanding of moral transform in May 4th Culture Movement.
