The paper introduces the measurement device and principle of single fiber contact angle. The application of measuring single fiber contact angle, such as comparing single fiber contact angles with macroscopic dynamic contact angles on handsheets, influence of fiber types and medium on single fiber contact angles and the relationship between single fiber contact angle and sizing performance are discussed.
