History of Black American's Higher Education

美国黑人高等教育的产生和发展与种族主义密切相关。虽然在其发展过程中,教会、政府、慈善团体以及黑人自身等因素在不同程度上对黑人高等教育产生过影响,从某种意义上说都功不可没。但美国社会中种族主义的长期存在势必在黑人高等教育的发展中设置障碍,使黑人高等教育长期以来仅局限于黑人院校。

The higher education of Black American people, from its emergence to development, has never been independent from the racialism. Though varieties of communities, for instance, the church, government, the charity, even black people themselves, have done much to advance the black higher education, the ever-existing racialism serves as an obstruction, and prevents black higher education from going out of black colleges.
