On How the Education Affects Economy: A Comparative Study Between China and India

教育全球化特征日趋明显的情况下,尽管各国教育在总体发展趋势上呈现出一致性,但教育改革和发展的内部机理的差异仍将决定各国教育发展的前景,教育与经济之间的双相因果互动关系决定了教育的发展状况将影响到该国在经济全球化大潮中的前景。印度在人口、资源以及近代历史状况的各个方面都与中国都有着惊人的相似,目前印度又采取了与中国几乎完全相同的经济政策。因此,印度的发展状况像一面镜子能够直接映射出中国的特征,而且印度的教育改革特别是高等教育的巨大成功正在被包括中国在内的世界各国所借鉴。

Education, as an international issue nowadays, is oriented similarly in every countries, though the diversities in each country＇s education mechanism and reform makes differences. Economy not only affects education, but also is affected. Hereby education is a significant factor in a nation＇s economy. India and China have many common basics in, for instance, population, resources, and history. Moreover, India makes its current economic policy identically in a Chinese way. Thus Chinese people shall gain reference by studying India＇s development, e.g. its success and accomplishment in higher education reform.
