以主题教学为主体的TIA高级英语教学探索

On the Teaching Model of the Theme-based TIA in Teaching Advanced English

高级英语课程是高等学校英语专业高年级开设的一门主干课。以主题教学为主体的TIA高级英语教学模式确立以主题内容为中心,以学生为主体,以语言运用能力和自主学习能力培养为宗旨的教学理念,注重加强、培养创新意识和知识的实际应用能力,实现自主学习和合作学习。本文以英语专业高级英语课程教学为例,探讨在教师指导下,结合所学内容开展多种创新活动的新型课堂教学模式。

Advanced English is a key course for English majors in the institutions of higher learning. The theme-based Advanced English lays stress on developing creativeness, question awareness and practical competence so as to bring about individual study, independent study and cooperative study. This paper aims to take Advanced English as a teaching example to illustrate a new type of teaching with combination of teachers＇ guide and text materials.
