Su Shi made every effort for the diversification and individuality of the artistic style. In his ambitious young, Su Shi vigorously advocated bold, majestic style, but in his old, after experiencing much suffering, Su Shi esteemed the light natural style. In the artistic origin, this kind of style absorbed succinct and plain of Wei Yingwu＇s and Liu Zongyuan＇s prose, simple and understandable of Bai Juyi＇s poets, nature yet gorgeous of Tao Yuanmin＇s poets.
