Slowing Down the Pace of Enrollment in Higher Education

2003年,我国高等教育的毛入学率达到17%,已经进入高等教育大众化阶段,这既表明了高等教育的进步,但同时也带来了很多问题。本文将从受教育者个人、学校和社会三个方面对高等教育进行分析,论证现阶段我国高等教育的发展在一定程度上超过了社会可承受的程度,其发展速度应该加以控制。

The gross enrollment proportion of Chinese higher education has achieved 17% in 2003. Higher education has entered into popular phase. It indicates that Chinese higher education has made great progress; meanwhile, it also brings lots of problems. This paper would analyze higher education from three aspects： educatee, university and society. It demonstrates that the development of Chinese higher education has exceeded the bearable degree of current society and the recruiting enlargement speed should be controlled .
