摘要
本文运用网络模型模拟了知识如何在社会网络中扩散的过程。研究发现知识扩散中存在“小世界”现象,即当网络为小世界时经过充分的知识扩散后整个社会的平均知识水平最高,并且知识差异接近最低。模拟的结果印证了美国社会学家格兰洛伍特(Granovetter)提出的“弱连带优势”理论,研究结果对于提高整个社会的知识水平具有丰富的政策涵义。
This article models knowledge diffusion in social network.The results exhibit a "small world" phenomenon in the process of knowledge diffusion, in that the steady state level of average knowledge is maximal when the network structure is that of a small world. Another important finding is that the variance of knowledge levels among agents is also nearly maximal in the small world region. This results are consistent with the theory of "Strength of weak ties" proposed by American sociologist Granovetter and have important policy implications.
