文章通过目前已经发掘的汉阳陵帝陵园里的10条葬坑,以及正在修建中国第一座全地下式遗址的保护展示厅,从保护历史文物风貌,建筑与自然和谐共处,及文物的收藏和安全角度,阐述了通过利用地下空间开发保护文物遗址的重要性。
