无锡鸿山越国贵族墓发掘简报

Brief Excavation Report on Aristocratic Tombs of the Yue State,Hongshan Town of Wuxi City

鸿山越国贵族墓地位于江苏省无锡市锡山区鸿山镇东部,2003年3月-2005年6月由南京博物院考古研究所和无锡市锡山区文物管理委员会组成考占队对其进行了发掘。此次共发掘战国时期的越国贵族墓葬7座,可分为小型、中型、大型和特大型四个等级,其中特大型墓葬丘承墩出土青瓷器、陶器、玉器、琉璃器等共计1098件。鸿山越国贵族墓地是继绍兴印山越乇陵之后最重要的考古发现,填补了春秋战国时期越国考古资料的空白。

The aristocratic tombs of Yue are situated at the eastern Hongshan Town, Xishan District, Wuxi City. From March of 2003 to June of 2005, an excavation was co-conducted by the Archaeology Institute of Nanjing Museum and the Cultural Relics Administration Committee of Xishan District of Wuxi City. Seven aristocratic tombs of the Warring States Period were unearthed; they can be divided into four grades - small-size, middle-size, large-size and outsize. Qiuchengdun, one of the outsize tombs, contains celadon ware, pottery, jade ware and colored glaze ware, in total of 1098. Hongshan aristocratic tombs of the Yue State, the most important archaeological discovery after the mausoleum of the king of Yue which is located in the Yin Mount, fills the blank in archaeological data of the Yue State of the Warring States Period.
