摘要
针对模糊控制在城市交通信号控制中的应用,提出了基于交通需求强度的路口多层模糊控制模型.首先在阐述路口交通信号控制基本机理的基础上提出了交通需求强度的概念来表示路口交通信号控制的需求问题.在此基础上提出了多层模糊控制模型,第1层用来判断路口的交通需求强度;第2层为相序优化层;第3层为绿灯时间优化层.通过与多方案选择的定时控制相比较,仿真结果表明所提出的多层模糊控制模型具有相对较好的控制效果.
This paper presents the design and simulation of a multi-layer fuzzy logic traffic signal controller for an isolated intersection based on traffic demand intensity. The traffic demand intensity indicates the demand degree of each approach to green time at an intersection. The multi-layer fuzzy controller includes three layers,the first layer is used to decide the traffic demand intensity of each approach and phase,the second layer is phase sequence optimization layer to determine the phase sequence of an intersection. The traffic demand intensities and phase sequence are then used in the third layer to determine whether the current signal phase should be extended or terminated. The performance of this controller is compared to that of a fixed-time controller based on scheme-choice for different traffic conditions on a simulated four-approach intersection.
