Developing Art Education in Universities of Science and Engineering to Promote the Forming of a Harmonious Campus Culture

和谐校园文化作为和谐社会文化的子系统,其文化的发展也势在必行。艺术教育将在和谐校园文化建设中发挥重要作用。介绍我国理工科大学的艺术教育的现状,以及艺术教育对和谐校园文化的作用,提出了如何发展理工科大学艺术教育以促进校园和谐文化的构建。

A harmonious campus is regarded as the subsystem of harmonious social culture, and the development of its culture is imperative, too. Art education will play an important role in the cultural construction of harmonious campus. This article has proposed how to develop art education in universities of science and engineering in order to promote the construction of the harmonious culture in the campus based on introducing the current situation of art education in Chinese universities of science and engineering, and the role which art education has played in harmonious campus culture.
