文化中的国家与国家中的文化——论日本对汉文化的认同与承传

A Nation in Culture and Culture in a Nation: The Case of China and Japan

人类文化可分为几大体系,任何一种优秀文化的传承和发展,都不能只靠创造这种文化的民族本身来完成。国家及国家意识的产生远远晚于文化。日本作为汉文化圈中的一员,其文化中融入了大量的中国文化,但日本民族并没有视其为外国文化,而是作为本民族传统文化的一个重要组成部分继承下来,并且发扬光大。即使在两国关系极端恶化的时期也不例外。今天,人类文化在相互碰撞中重新组合,作为文化工作者和传播者,应以继承和发展人类共有的文化为己任,不为国家关系的亲疏所左右,携手创建新的文化使人类文明走向更辉煌的明天。

Human culture can be divided into several big families. The succession and evolution ofany brilliant culture cannot be fulfilled by a single nation. Culture far proceeds the origin of nation and the sense of nation. As a member of Chinese cultural circle, Japan shares a great amount of Chinese culture, which the Japanese nation never regards as something alien, but something important in its national culture, even in the period when Sino-Japan relations were extremely hostile. Today, human cultures are being re-combined though many cultural conflicts exist. As cultural workers and spreaders, we should take the responsibility to inherit and develop human culture, without being confined by the unstable relations between the two nations, and should make a bight future for human civilization by constructing a new culture together.
