摘要
以异丁酸、苯甲酸和新戊二醇等为主要原料,QS(无机锡复合盐)作催化剂,合成了增塑剂NPBIB(苯甲酸新戊二醇异丁酸酯),并对其性能进行了测试。考察了影响酯化反应的因素,实验结果表明,酯化反应的最佳条件为:催化剂QS用量(以反应液总质量计)为0.3%,异丁酸、苯甲酸、新戊二醇的摩尔比为1.1:1:1,反应时间为8 h。在此优化条件下,酯化率可达99.5%。
A new plasticizer, benzoic acid neopentyl glycol isobutyrate(NPBIB), was synthesized from isobutyric acid, benzoic acid, and neopentyl glycol using QS as catalyst. The properties of the plasticizer were tested. The effects of reaction conditions on the esterification were examined. The results showed that the optimum conditions for the esterification reaction were as follows: amount of QS catalyst 0.3% (based on the total weight of initial materials), n (isobutyric acid) : n (benzoic acid) : n (neopentyl glycol) = 1.1 : 1 : 1, reaction time 8 h. The esterification rate was 99.5 % under above optimum conditions.
