The Seminar of Development in Education of the Newly-established Colleges of Four-year Schooling in West China focused on some problems confronting those colleges during the process of reform and development. The specialists present at the meeting offered their new viewpoints and new thoughts., they should take an initial attitude to adapt themselves to the development of local economy and set up reliable strategy of development ; education is an ecological environment in which all should help and rely on each other so as to advance toward a common target.
