摘要
照应的单向性原则是英汉两种语言共同遵守的一项基本原则。不同的是英语中有一些例外———有些违背单向性原则的句子可以成立。严格地说,这类句子实际上是照应系统中的有标记的句子,它们不代表主流。本文在考察了英汉第三人称代词照应单向性方面的一致与不同之后,重点分析和解释了以下两个问题:1)汉语中为什么不存在反单向性的句子;2)一般所谓反单向性的汉语句子实际上情况如何。
The unidirectionality of the anaphora of third person pronouns is the essential principle that both English and Chinese comply with. But some English sentences that formally violate this principle are acceptable, which is different from the Chinese case. Such sentences in English are in fact marked anaphoric sentences and are small in number. The paper analyzes and explains the following two issues: 1) why those sentences contrary to the principle don't exist in Chinese; and 2) why some so-called “anti-unidirectionality” Chinese sentences are acceptable.
