The significance of agricultural produce processing industry to solving problems of peasantry, country, agriculture and small town construction was discussed. The characteristics,which have a higher tempo, prolonging industry chain, transferring surplus rural labor force and increasing farmers＇ income, of agricultural product pressing industry in our country were expounded.
