医学专业英语教材建设的问题与对策

修订后的《大学英语教学大纲》首次提出了对专业英语教学的具体要求。医学院校的医学专业英语教学是培养复合型医学人才的重要环节。然而,由于多种原因的制约,医学专业英语教材的建设还不够完善,存在着教材的选用主观随意性大、教材建设欠规范性与科学性、教材的研究滞后等问题。对此,本文提出了相应的对策,旨在促进医学英语教材建设尽快走向科学、系统、完善的发展轨道上来。

The revised syllabus for College English has for the first time made specific requirements for subject - based English （SBE） teaching in China, In medical colleges, the SBE plays an important role in cultivating medical talents with mixed qualities. However, because of various reasons, the present SBE materials on medicine are not well developed yet. There exist such problems as arbitrary choices of teaching materials, nonstandard materials development and definite lag in the theoretical study of materials. Based on the above problems, the author puts forward several suggestions for the sake of promoting the development of SBC materials on medicine.
