介绍了路侧设计“宽恕”理念的定义和具体应用——“路侧净区”。针对路侧净区的前坡、后坡、横坡、排水沟等具体组成,分别研究了其几何设计要求。最后,研究分析了我国路侧设计的现状以及应用宽恕理念的必要性。

The paper introduced the definition of roadside forgiving design and its application, clear zone. The geometric design demand of fore slope, back slope. cross slope, and ditch in the clear zone were studied. The situation of roadside design in China and the necessity of applying forgiving concept are analyzed too.
