Liang Bin's novels have a "red" narrative pattern. From both omniscient and omnipotent narrative angles, it describes the torturous course of China's revolution, with the characters divided into positive and negative ones, with resort to a combination of revolutionary realism and Romanticism. This pattern of narration has an isomorphic relationship with the novelist's proletariat feelings and political ideology. The narrative angle and figures form a complicated metaphorical world. This narrative pattern, which used to be popular in the 1950's , is a reflection of the cultural flavors of a particular era.
