The TCP Congestion Algorithm for FAST Long-Distance Networks

摘要 对现行TCP及改进版本在高带宽长距离环境(Fast Long-D istance,FLD)下存在的问题进行了研究。通过理论分析和实验验证比较了高带宽长距离环境下两种TCP拥塞控制算法。实验结果表明,FA ST TCP在快速收敛和吞吐率方面性能优越,而B IC在RTT公平性和TCP友好性方面更为突出。最后,指出了进一步的研究方向。 The paper summarizes the problems that the current TCP and its modifications face in the FAST Long-Distance (FLD) Networks. We analyze and compare two TCP Congestion Algorithms through the principle and experiment. The experimental results show that FAST TCP has good performances in fast recovery and throughput and BIC behaviors better in RTT fairness and TCP friendly. Finally, we discuss the direction of future research.
