Retrospect and Prospect on Research of Users' Information Demand

通过对国内外具有代表性的用户信息需求研究文献的分析,概括出用户信息需求研究发展的三个阶段,即以信息系统为导向的信息需求研究、以用户认知为导向的信息需求研究和网络用户信息需求研究。在此基础上,总结出用户信息需求研究发展的五大趋势:研究对象的全面性、研究内容的整体性、研究思路的动态性、研究方法和成果的相关性以及研究方向的系统性。

The analysis of the representative literature on research of users＇ information demands helps clarify the three stages of the research experienced ： information system-centered research of information demands, user＇ s cognition-centered research of information demands and research of network users＇ information demands. On the basis of this analysis, the paper also concludes the five trends of the research in question： the objects of research being comprehensive, the content of research being integral, the route of research being dynamic, the method and achievement of research being relevant and the direction of research being systematic.
