摘要
提出一种基于小波的二尺度乘积边缘检测方法,用两个临近尺度的二进小波变换相乘作为乘积函数,将边缘定义为确定阈值下乘积函数的局部最大值。尺度相乘增强了图像结构识别能力,并可抑制噪声。试验表明, 通过所提出的尺度乘积技术对边缘进行检测,其应用结果优于单尺度的情况,提高了局部检测精度,有效地解决了边缘错位问题,并减少了邻边的影响。
A wavelet based edge detection scheme by scale multiplication is proposed. The dyadic wavelet transforms at two adjacent scales are multiplied as a product function. And the edge is defined as the local max value in a certain threshold. It enhances the ability of recognizing the edge and suppressed the noise. It is shown that the scale multiplication can achieves better results than either of the two scales, especially on the localization performance. It also can solve the problem aroused by dislocation neighboring edges and reduce the interferenee of neighboring edges.
