蜀中多仙山。在四川众多的山峰之中，贡嘎山以7556米的海拔高度当之无愧地成为“蜀山之王”。除了高度，贡嘎山与生俱来的王者之气也令其他山峰望尘莫及——它是探险家们的天堂和地狱，所交织的诱惑不能言传．却无可抵挡，它的四周群峰傲立．森林湖泊、田野草原环绕簇拥，如上天为其佩戴的花冠：汉、藏、彝等民族对它顶礼膜拜，在其注视下迁移交融，保持着淳朴得近乎原始的民风民俗。
With the height of 7,556m above sea level, Gongga Mountain is absolutely worthy of the name as ＂the King of Sichuan Mountains＂ compared with the other mountains in Sichuan Province. Gongga in Tibetan means ＂the most lofty, pure and white snow＂. Located at snow mountain section of Hengduan Mountains, Gongga Mountain is surrounded by 25 mountains over 6,000m above sea level and its pyramid-shaped main peak looks like a pure and white jade towering to the sky.
