摘要
在《论语》中,孔子把“执中”作为处理事物的正确方法和态度,强调“因时择中”、“执中有权”,个体通过自身知行的储备积累,由自觉地“执中”到自然而自由地时时“执中”,便到达了道德修养的至高境界———“中庸”。这种既有既定的原则,又有能因时而变、灵活机智的处事方法,对今天的人们依然有着重要的借鉴意义。
In the Analects, Confucius regards the golden mean as the correct method and the attitude to handle affairs, and emphasizes the functions of the time-depending mean and the golden mean. Through the individual' s storage and accumulation, he will hold the golden mean consciously, then naturally and freely, and lastly will arrive in the doctrine of the mean the moral accomplishment to the high state. This kind of decided principle and the method of dealing with affairs flexibly, still have got the importance lessons from the meaning to today's people.
