摘要 Asthma and diabetes mellitus are common diseases and the concurrence is correspondingly expected to occur commonly. Several studies, however, indicate that the incidence of asthma in diabetic patients is less than that in the residual population. In the same individual, clinical asthma appears to be less severe when diabetes is superimposed. In addition, the onset of the diabetic state is accompanied by diminution of symptoms of previously existing bronchial asthma.
