海瑞是明代杰出的地主阶级改革家和实干家。在明朝日趋走向衰落之时,他摧折权贵、惩治腐败,保护“小民”,发展生产,革新图治、重视教育。他为拯救明朝的封建统治,做出了有益的贡献。
Hai Rui was an outstanding reformer and doer for the landlord class during the Ming Dynasty in China. On the decline of the Ming Dynasty, he took many measures to rescue the nation, such as punishing officials with real power; shattering all forms of corruption; safeguarding common people; promoting the feudal economy; transforming the current siuation and attaching importance to education etc. Therefore he made an important contribution to the nation.
