试析谭嗣同的教育思想

An Analysis of the Educational Thought of Tan Sitong

谭嗣同教育思想的核心是“通”。谭嗣同认为,要实现中外通、上下通和人我通,就必须要沟通中西学术,以中国传统的大同和西方的自由平等思想为武器;要实现男女内外通,实现男女之间的平等,就必须要兴办女学,为妇女提供受教育的机会。同时谭嗣同指出,注重实践和相互切磋是沟通学术的为学之方。

The core of Tan Sitong＇s educational thought was the communication （＂Tong＂）. According to Tan Sitong, the realization of communication between China and the West, between the superior and the junior, between Other and Me, the eastern and the western learning must be associated, using the traditional thought of Datong and the western thought of freedom. Schools for girls should be established so as to provide them educational opportunities, thus the communication as welt as the equality between Man and Women could be realized. Meanwhile Tan Sitong pointed out that the main method to exchange learning was to practice and study mutually.
