几种典型的联邦数字图书馆分析比较

Analysing and comparing for several typical federated digital lib-raries

建立联邦数字图书馆的目的是向用户提供一个将异构、分布式数字图书馆无缝集成的视图,实现对数字图书馆资源的透明访问。本文以目前几个具有代表性的联邦数字图书馆(NCSTRL、NDLTD、NSDL及LFDL)为例,对其所采用的体系结构、用户界面、元数据策略和互操作方案进行了分析讨论,并对其特点进行了比较。

The purpose of building federated digital library is to provide users with a seamless integrated view of heterogeneous and distributed digital libraries and to access the resource of digital libraries transparently. In this paper, several typical federated digital libraries （NCSTRL, NDLTD, NSDL and LFDL） is introduced and their architecture, user interface, metadata strategy and interoperability approach is also analysed and discussed. Their characteristics are also compared.
