青少年肥胖的药物治疗一个沉重的话题
Pharmacotherapy for Adolescent Obesity A Weighty Issue
摘要
如果公共卫生部门不设法预防儿童及青少年肥胖，不设法有效普及此项工作，那么在不远的将来，医生们就有可能要面对大量的肥胖儿童。其中很多人会表现出与2型糖尿病和心血管疾病发病有关的特质，有一些会遭到社会歧视，而另一些会出现社会心理疾病。已有研究显示，肥胖的青少年以后有可能成长为肥胖的成人，但要转变青少年肥胖的趋势目前仍是一个难以实现的目标。因此，对医生而言，当务之急是给予这种慢性病适当的治疗。
