摘要
该文针对桥梁的具体特点,对桥梁建模的常用方法进行了分析和研究,并在此基础上提出了一种基于特征描述及纹理技术的桥梁建模方法。对桥梁使用特征描述法进行描述,首先将其用各种不同的参数来进行预定义,然后根据这些特征参数分别对组成桥梁的各部分构件进行建模,最后再根据桥梁的位置参数及数量参数将各构件组合起来,完成建模过程。应用纹理映射技术来对桥梁构件中建模过程长且对虚拟仿真效果影响较小的构件进行建模。文中着重介绍了应用透明纹理技术对斜拉索桥的拉索部分的表达方法。该文提出的建模方法简化了桥梁的建模过程,加快了桥梁建模的速度,且其最终的实现效果可满足虚拟漫游场景仿真的要求。
After analyzing the modeling methods that are in common use, a new modeling method based on features and texture mapping is presented. Using technology of features, 3D bridge can be represented by various kinds of parameters, such as kinds of bridge, geometry dimensions, position and quantity of each component of bridge and so on. After that we can begin to model all components of bridge according to these feature parameters. In the end all the components are integrated into whole bridge. In this paper, the texture mapping technology is also used to represent some components which may consume lots of time to be modeled but have less influences on simulation of scene. The way of how to use transparent texture mapping to represent poles of bridge is introduced. The new modeling method simplified the process of bridge modeling and can reduce time consumed on modeling. It is suitable for simulating the virtual cruise scene.
