摘要
介绍了利用相位掩模技术刻制光纤Bragg光栅的基本原理,并利用相位掩模板技术在增敏后的光纤上刻制出了单模和折射率渐变少模光纤布拉格光栅。实验结果表明单模光纤光栅在1080nm波长附近透射谱的峰值达到了-49dB以上,几乎达到其理想值;刻制的折射率渐变少模光纤光栅的反射谱显示约有8个特征峰,其峰值约为7~8dB,反射率达到了80%以上,并对这种光纤光栅的反射谱进行了理论分析,结果表明理论与实验结果符合得较好。
The basic principle of the fiber Bragg grating's (FBG) fabrication was introduced. Bragg gratings in single-mode fiber (SMFBG) and in graded-index few-mode fiber (FMFBG) have been fabricated by the phase-mask method. The SMFBG showed an almost ideal result in its transmission spectrum as the transmission lobe was more than -49 dB at about 1 080 nm. And the FMFBG showed about 8 reflection spectrum lobes, the lobes was about 7-8 dB. Theoretical study of the FMFBG's reflection spectrum was made, and actually, the theoretical result is agreeable to the experiment one well.
