The structure and properties of hydrotalcite were introduced. Blending agri-film with hydrotalcite, a series of properties can be improved, including transparency, permeation, temperature keeping, and synergistic light stability, with mechanical properties unaffected. SEM of the three-layer coextruded film indicated that hydrotalcite was well dispersed in the film, which provided a basis for the production of agri-films containing hydrotalcite.
