儿童读物对于儿童的成长发育起着不可忽视的作用。近年来书籍整体设计的发展也使儿童读物出现了新的面貌,主要体现在书籍审美形态、印刷与纸张、传播形式、材料选择、封面、插图与版式、内容等多方面。我国在以上诸多方面与国外同行还有一定的差距,这需要作者、出版者、编辑、设计者以及印刷装订者的共同的努力。
