To establish an effective innovation mechanism of science and to enhance the independent innovation ability, Shanghai is carring out a strategy which regards science and education as the main method to prosper the city. Facilitating the cooperation of education, research and production is one of the most important steps and keys of this strategy. And it is also an effective method to integrate the resources of universities, research institutes and enterprises in Shanghai to make greater progress in main scientific and industrial research projects. In recent years, the cooperation has been more efficient. However, when considering the goal of Shanghai, we would find that there is still a large gap between current status and our expectation. The development of technologies and the appearance of new demands always guide the future direction of new economics. The development of technologies encourages people to propose new demands, while the new demands supervises and urges the development of technologies. Thus, with no doubt, we can already conclude that it is very important to facilitate the cooperation of education, research and production, not to mention the breakthrough in the cooperation counts much for the innovation strategy of Shanghai.
