蚊蛹形态学研究及其分类

MORPHOLOGICAL STUDY AND TAXONOMY OF THE PUPAL STAGE OF MOSQUITOES(DIPTERA:CULIDAE)

本文对东北及其毗邻地区的六属四十六种蚊蛹进行了分类学研究。研究结果证明:用蛹期来进行分种鉴定,对大多数蚊种是可以区分的,分类特征明显,但有些种类的鉴别尚需进一步探讨。

Pupa is an important stage in the life cycle of mosquitoes.It retains some of the characteristics of the larval stage,and possesses some of the adult stage also.The pupal stage is one link of the systematic taxonomy chains of mosquitoes. However, very few studies were reported in China, and even no one in the North-eastern China yet.To fill this gap, the writer studied 6 genera and 46 species in several districts of the North-eastern China and the eastern part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and made out the key characteristics of these species.The present study demonstrates most of the respective characteristics of the pupae of mosquitoes,and by using these, most pupae can be easily identified.
