摘要
现代经济革命的内涵与原因曾引起许多经济学家的关注,传统的主流经济学在制度条件不变的前提下得出结论,是技术的革新带来了产业革命;而新制度学派则在技术条件不变的前提下得出结论,是制度的变迁引起了产业革命的爆发。市场革命与产业革命是两个相互独立又相互支持的体系。英国的产业革命虽然表现为生产方式的变革,但它的爆发却首先取决于市场革命的成功。而产业革命带来的军事技术优势不仅使新经济体系能战胜旧的体系生存下来,而且使之成为全球各国争相模仿的对象。
The second economic revolution has attracted the attention of lots of economists. The traditional mainstream economists concluded that, with the institution unchanged, innovation of technology brought about the industrial revolution; the school of new - institution developed a conclusion that, with the technology unchanged, the change of institution resulted in the industrial revolution. Market revolution and industrial revolution is two independent and interacted system, even the British Industrial Revolution is characterized by the change of production mode, its outbreak depends upon the success of market revolution. The advantages of military technology from the industrial revolution not only resulted in that the new economic system can defeat and substitute for the old one, then can survive in a competitive environment, but also made it to become a model emulated by all other nations in the world.
