CEPA的签订，对内地与港澳之间的货物贸易、服务贸易和贸易投资便利等在WTO框架范围内都作了进一步的安排，对港澳来说的核心好处就是给予了内地17个服务行业（包括法律服务业）的特别准入。由此，CEPA的签订，对内地律师的业务将产生很大的影响。总体来说，一方面，协议中规定的内地法律服务业对港澳律师开放的范围和程度确实对内地律师的现有业务领域会产生冲击，
The Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong signed the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement （CEPA） between the two sides in June 2003. In October of the same year, the Mainland and Macao also signed the CEPA between them. The two CEPAs have made further arrangements on bilateral trade in goods and services and facilitating investment under the framework of the World Trade Organization （WTO）. For Hong Kong and Macao, the core benefit from CEPAs is the obtainment of special access to 17 service sectors in the Mainland, including the sector of legal service. The signing of CEPAs is expected to great impact the legal profession in the Mainland.
